• League expanded to two divisions. The top 18 from 1975-76 formed the Premier Division.
• The other 5 teams became part of the new Division One, with the following additions:
• Brixham United, Chard Town, Clandown, Heavitree United, Ilminster Town, Larkhall Athletic, Ottery St Mary, Portway Bristol, Saltash United, Shepton Mallet Town, Swanage Town & Herston, Torquay United reserves and Yeovil Town reserves
