Football League Full Members Cup

Format - 21 entrants, two parallel competitions, North and South, with a national final at Wembley Stadium. All the Southern groups had three teams, and played a mini round-robin with the winners qualifying for the area semi-finals. In the North, only Group One had three teams, with the other groups of two teams being played as either a single game, or two-legged home and away ties.
